Accumulating a Long Life Prayer for the birthday of His Eminence Namkha Drime Rabjam Rinpoche

Dear friends! Precious Sangha!

March 12 is the birthday of our precious Master, the holder of the Ripa lineage, His Eminence Terchen Namkha Drime Rabjam Rinpoche.

As we all know, it is very valuable to recite the long life prayers of the precious Masters, it is beneficial for their life, health and our practice.

This year we propose to unite all of us together to accumulate the prayer of long life of Namkha Drime Rabjam Rinpoche and offer Him 500 000 repetitions on His birthday.

At the bottom of this page there is an automatic counter in which each of us can independently enter the number of accumulated prayers. Thus, we will all see how much has been accumulated for offering to the Teacher.

Recitation technique: 1st option:

If you accumulate only prayer, then first recite the Guru Rinpoche 7-line prayer (3, 7 or 21 times)

then go directly to accumulation of the prayer for a long life of Namkha Drime Rabjam Rinpoche (preferably in a multiple of 108 times) and end with the dedication of merit.

2nd option:

If you do regular practice / sadhana, then at the end of the main practice, when you come to reciting the long life prayers, you can accumulate a certain number of long life prayers of Namkha Drime Rinpoche, then a dedication of merit (as usual, according to the text).

We invite you to do group and retreat accumulation sessions on 8, 10, 15, 25, 29 and 30 lunar days of the month. These are the days of group practices in all Ripa centers around the world. On these days of the month, the entire international community of the Ripa Lineage and our friends are invited to accumulate collectively the prayer of the long life of His Eminence. In this way, we will unite our efforts to all the precious worldly Ripa Sangha. Before the birthday, we will collect the entire amount of the accumulated prayers for our precious Teacher and officially offer from the entire international Sangha with congratulations and heartful wishes.
